Elizabeth Bradley was raised in San Francisco and San Diego, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the University of San Diego in 1989. Ms. Bradley earned her Juris Doctor in 1994 from California Western School of Law, where she interned with the California Court of Appeal, Fourth District (Hon. Don Work), and the managing partner of Baker McKenzie’s Tijuana, Mexico office. Ms. Bradley gained admittance to the California Bar in 1994. She is also admitted to practice before the federal courts of the Central and Southern Districts of California.

Before and during her legal studies, Ms. Bradley was a legal administrator at Viviano & Bradley, a mid-size insurance and corporate defense firm in San Diego. As a new lawyer, she also practiced at Viviano & Bradley (later Franco-Bradley & Martorella) from 1994 to 1996. As both an administrator and associate of that firm, Ms. Bradley gained valuable business and human resources experience and first-hand insight, while serving her clients in a variety of business and employment matters. Later, as the attorney in charge of Viviano & Bradley’s Northern California office, she handled product and premises liability matters for the firm’s corporate clients, such as the Ford Motor Company and Wells Fargo Bank.

In 1997, Ms. Bradley relocated to Los Angeles and opened her own litigation practice, handling business, employment, real estate and entertainment matters. From 2000 to 2005, she practiced business and entertainment litigation with the Law Offices of Alan S. Gutman, a boutique Beverly Hills firm, where she gained valuable trial experience and also handled complex law and motion and appeals.

In 2005, Ms. Bradley and her mother, attorney Elizabeth Franco Bradley, formed Bradley & Bradley, LLP. There, she continued her successful business litigation practice, representing sole proprietors and corporations in business, real estate and employment matters. In 2009, Ms. Bradley won a $1.2 million judgment in a lengthy bench trial between business partners. In a wrongful termination action, Ms. Bradley obtained summary judgment in favor of a prominent energy company and successfully defended the judgment on appeal. In a wide range of other matters, Ms. Bradley was frequently retained by small local firms and sole practitioners to handle complex law and motion matters and civil appeals. Shortly before Ms. Franco Bradley retired earlier this year, the Bradleys were the subject of a Los Angeles Daily Journal feature story. (Read the article)
